Simon Fisher Turner

Composer Simon Fisher Turner talks to Tommy Pearson about his unique collaborations with the director Derek Jarman. In films like Caravaggio, The Last of England, Edward II, The Garden and Blue, Simon Fisher Turner's contribution goes beyond music; as part of Jarman's film collective he started as a driver, became a casting director and ended up as composer and important contributor to the sound of each film. This interview was recorded at London's Serpentine Gallery where there is a special exhibition on the work of Jarman.
